New Area Sports Magazine Debuts Next Month Detailing Sports From This Month

An invite for the launch party for a new publication just landed on Sarah’s desk. I grabbed it. The magazine is called Replay Sports Monthly. According to the magazine’s site, it is “Your Private Suite For Every Game.” There’s more:

You’ve waited long enough for a Dallas/Ft. Worth sports magazine and now it’s here! We’ll bring you all the sports you want in a comprehensive, entertaining style each month from writers you know.

A few things. One: Until today, I’d never heard of Replay. I know more than a few writers. It seems to me one of them might have mentioned something. Two: Launching a monthly magazine? That deals with last month’s sporting events (I’m assuming, based on the name)? Good luck. Three: Launching a monthly magazine? Now? In this economy? Extra good luck.
