For Newspapers, Every Month is a Bad News Month

Silicon Alley Insider provides a handy chart of the major newspaper groups’ declining sales. The only bright spot: circ revenue remains steady. Belo isn’t included, but with its newspaper group’s revenues down 8.5 percent, it is suffering about the same as its brethren. Belo is notoriously conservative and bureaucratic, but maybe the pain will wake them up over there to the need for radical action.
