WICK TO ANGELA: COUNT THE VOTES

|

It was worse than even Rod mentioned. The backers of the referendum of whom Angela was so proud last Wednesday got whomped on Saturday. The 21,368 votes garnered by the pro-referendum candidates (Coats, Gale, Herrera, Hill, Jordan, and Okpa) were overwhelmed by the 49,950 votes cast for the candidates who refused to sign (Cappello, Griffith, Leppert, Oakley, and Wells). That’s a margin of 70 percent.

Maybe I’m misreading the election results. So, Angela, feel free to tell us how many voters signed your petition on Saturday.
