Turns out I shouldn’t have only warned Adam yesterday about about a steal from DallasCEO for Condé Nast for its new push into biz magazines. They nabbed our Heather Vance, m.e. for special interest publications at D Publishing. Here’s the scoop from Jennifer Dodd, her soon-to-be-former boss:

Heather’s title will be Creative Services Coordinator. She’ll be working in the Creative Services department of Condé Nast’s Portfolio business magazine. The first issue is scheduled for May of 2007. Condé Nast says Portfolio will take “a different look at business.” Her new boss will be Theresa Gaffney, formerly of The New Yorker.
