Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is opening its first Dallas store, in Addison, on June 6. The Colorado-based restaurant serves a variety of breakfast and brunch items every day from 6:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Staples include the pineapple upside-down pancakes, sweet potato pancakes, and breakfast pot pie. “We have sourcing standards for food,” says Justin Fritsch, Regional Manager of DFW, who recently relocated from San Diego to open Snooze’s Texas outposts. “No confinement for animals, no added hormones, no preservatives or artificial ingredients. We visit every single farm and try to source within 250 miles from each restaurant.”

“Consistency is something we take seriously,” Fritsch says of the Texas menu. “We’ll have local beers and local hot sauces.” Beer offerings include brews from Deep Ellum Brewing, Bishop Cider Co., and Community Brewing. The full Texas menu can be viewed here.

“I believe in how we treat our Snoozers, guests, and our food,”  says Fritsch. “It was a real honor when they asked me to come to Texas and tap into a new market. I think Dallas is really ready for Snooze…I’m really into the community aspect of what we do for our openings. We partner with three non-profits; one that’s sustainability, one that’s education, and one is a wild card.”

In the days leading up the restaurant’s grand opening, Snooze will provided brunch for invited guests, and 100 percent of all donations will benefit their partners. For the Addison opening, Snooze is partnering with Texas Trees Foundation, Communities in Schools, and Genesis Women’s Shelter.

Snooze Addison is located at 5100 Belt Line Rd., Ste. 824. Their official grand opening date is June 6. The Walnut Hill and Fort Worth locations are expected to open this fall.
