From artisanal pop-ups to familiar favorites, here’s what to expect from your local farmers markets this weekend.
8 a.m. to noon, Saturday
Aside from different varieties of squash, this market also offers specialty produce such as eggplant, peppers, and oyster mushrooms. This weekend, you’ll find homemade pimento cheese spread, gluten-free bread, and drinkable goat milk. Aside from meat, dairy, and produce, the market also has different products such as room sprays, sugar scrub, and doggie biscuits. Here’s a full list of what the market will have this weekend.

This weekend, the DFM’s The Shed is hosting The Boho Market, a pop-up makers market that specializes in local, handcrafted, and vintage items. You’ll find handmade functional ceramics, letterpress prints, and jewelry, as well as artisanal clothing, toys, and décor. Take a peek at some of the vendors’ offerings here. Admission and parking for this three-day, dog-friendly event is free, and shoppers are encouraged to bring a canned food item for the North Texas Food Bank. (If you go Friday, Photo Wagon photo booth will be there—and it’s free.)

Because the size of the market can be delightfully daunting, here are a few tips on how to navigate the space. This week, you can find peaches, arugula, and blackberries. Highland Park Village – Local
8:30-11:30 a.m., Third Saturday of the Month
You’ll find the market at Livingston Court, between Céline and Balenciaga, the third Saturday of each month through December. Go early for breakfast tacos from Royal Blue Grocery, cold-pressed juices from Tribal Juice, and homemade kolaches from Naturally Curly Cook. Get a preview taste of Bird Bakery, which will open soon. The market offers a selection of farm-fresh produce such as pumpkins, kale, tomatoes, and zucchini. There’s also a “Paint Your Pumpkin” are for kids.
Lower Greenville POP Farmers Market
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday (Every other Sunday through the middle of December.)
The Granada Theater’s parking lot will be transformed into a local farmers market filled with fresh produce and live music. You’ll find baked goods from Sinful Bakery and organic skincare from Good Fox Co.
