This story from the August 1980 edition of D Magazine caught my eye while returning last week’s Flashback Friday issue to the archives. The piece examines the revolving door that was the Dallas dining scene in the late ’70s and early ’80s. Money issues, poor management and even popular television shows (that people stayed homed to watch) all played a roll in the closure of these featured restaurants.
