On Sunday, September 14, from 11 am – 3 pm, East Dallas will see its 5th Okrapalooza fundraiser held at The Lot at 7530 Grand Ave.
Popular chefs and home cooks alike will prepare their best okra dishes and compete for the “Okrapalooza champion of the world.” There will be side dishes, tastings, and beer from local breweries, as well as live music.

In it’s 5th year Okrapalooza continues to bring East Dallas a unique okra cook-off with live music, beer, and specialty okra dishes. Tickets are $35 and proceeds benefit the Garden and its programs for at-risk youth.
