You voted it your favorite burger place in Dallas, and now Twisted Root will be showing off its skills to the world. The World Food Championships took place in Vegas, and now a tournament-style, 6-episode reality series detailing the event will be airing on FYI (formerly Bio) at 9 PM.

Hundreds of chefs from around the world competed in the championship, a high-pressure, live-fire showdown with multiple categories. Twisted Root took part in the World Burger Championships. Barbecue, sandwiches, bacon and family recipes are some of the other categories, and there is a winner for each, culminating in a grand finale with a chance at a $50,000 prize. Tiffany Derry, a Dallas-based chef and “Top Chef” alum, co-hosts the show with Jeffrey Saad, a Chicago chef and restaurateur.
