Lazaranda

Chef Antonio Marquez will host a four-course chef’s dinner with wine pairings from Chequen Winery on Thursday, May 15th at 7 p.m.  $44.95.

COURSES INCLUDE:

Appetizer:

·         Duck Barbacoa sope with refried beans, pasilla pepper sauce and fresh cheese

·         Paired with Chequen, Sauvignon Blanc, Curico – Chile 2012

First Course:

·         Crab Salad served with mixed lettuce, roasted peppers, pineapple, avocado chips, and caramelized cashews with a cilantro dressing

·         Paired with Chequen, Sauvignon Blanc, Curico – Chile 2012

Second Course:

·         Shrimp stuffed with spinach and cheese, wrapped in bacon and served on top of a fava bean purée and saffron sauce

·         Paired with Chequen, Merlot, Curico – Chile 2012

Third Course:

·         Pork Tenderloin filet with tomatillo and chipotle relish, and roasted corn pico de gallo

·         Paired with Chequen Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Maule – Chile 2011

Fourth Course:

·         Glazed Roast Beef, creamy green ride, ancho and cinnamon mole with yucca chips

·         Paired with Chequen Carmenere Reserve, Curico – Chile 2012

Dessert:

·         Mango & Chocolate Symphony – crepe stuffed with chocolate ganache and roasted mangos served with a white chocolate sauce and sweet mango pico de gallo

Chateau Montelena Wine Dinner at Salum on Thursday May 15th. The dinner starts at 7:30 and it is $185.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.
