It’s Raining Restaurants!

Every time I blink there’s a new restaurant getting ready to open. It’s getting so hectic I can barely keep track of anything. You too, right?? Organization is key. Here’s a snapshot of this week in restaurant openings so we’re all in this together. Pound it.

Tuesday, September 24

Savor – Klyde Warren Park’s first restaurant.

Relish –  Ex-food truck-turned-walk up kiosk at Klyde Warren Park. Open for lunch. House-made relishes and truffle Parmesan French fries.

Wednesday, September 25

Tanoshii – Dallas’ first ramen shop at 2724 Commerce Street in Deep Ellum. Dinner service only until October. Opens at 5 p.m.

Thursday, September 26

Urban Orchard Market – Downtown grocery store at 1500 Jackson Street with a deli, bakery, and frozen yogurt stand.

Bar None Café – Sushi, taco, and sandwich bar at 1500 Jackson Street.

Events:

Foodiepalooza for the Boys and Girls Club of East Dallas. A great John-Tesar-spotting event.
Biscuits for Boobies at Norma’s Cafe (benefits the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Race for the Cure)

Friday, September 27

Central Standard– Restaurant America’s Design District baby is debuting its menu of wings and burgers.

The Alligator Cafe – The second location opens at 2912 Elm Street, where the old Rosemont space used to be.
