Dallas is about to get crazybusy as November 22, 2013 sneaks up on us. Pretty soon, it’ll be the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination. The Dallas LOVE Project is currently being produced by 29 Pieces to make sure 20,000 pieces of art is installed throughout Dallas for the anniversary day. Yowza. “Each and every work of art will be brought to life by the hands of a Dallas citizen, turning many physical and mental walls across the city of Dallas into galleries of love.”

If you want to support this project, do your community a favor and drink some beer tomorrow. It’s on Thursday, August 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Deep Ellum Brewing Co. Tickets are $10 and the money goes toward the LOVE project. Pretty easy, right?

From the press release:

Join 29 Pieces at the Deep Ellum Brewery Company for a beer tasting and tour, as the nonprofit organization will share how they, and more than 50 community partners, plan to spread the Love throughout Dallas, launch its Indiegogo fundraising campaign to support its Dallas LOVE Project, and offer volunteer opportunities to be part of this historic 50th celebration of the legacy of one of our greatest presidents. The Indiegogo fundraising campaign for the Dallas LOVE Project will launch August 15 and end October 15, 2013, with the goal to raise $25,000.

During the kickoff party, Deep Ellum Brewing Company will give every attendee three free pints of beer, live music by Devin Leigh, food truck by The Crazy Pig, a brewery tour and a “Love Runs Deep” commemorative pint glass. Deep Ellum Brewery will also donate 50 percent of the proceeds to the Dallas Love Project in honor of JFK’s 50thanniversary. 29 Pieces will also be collecting donations via cash, check and credit card onsite.
