Speaking of Horne & Dekker, the new issue of D Magazine is out today and along with it, a review of the new restaurant opened by Shawn Horne and Flynn Dekker.
Those of you who remember Horne’s Kitchen 1924 in Lakewood, will recognize many of H&D’s components. Have you been to Horne & Dekker? I’d love to hear your comments.

I wish I’d had more space to write about the shared valet parking situation that affects Horne & Dekker and all of the other restaurants and bars along this burgeoning strip of Henderson. There is not a self-park option and waits for a car can run up to 30 minutes on a weekend. The situation will only get worse as more restaurants and bars open along the already clogged two lanes of Henderson. You think the potholes are bad now?
