Tyler Florence is Coming! Tyler Florence is Coming!

Back in the day (and by this I mean about five years ago), I used to have a serious crush on Tyler Florence. This is when Tyler was all over the Food Network, doing Food 911, How to Boil Water, and Tyler’s Ultimate (this one is still on sometimes, I think). Anyway, I thought he was totally hot. People mag even named him the Sexiest Chef Ever in the History of Chefs or something. But then he kinda disappeared for a while. His shows started airing less frequently on TVFN, and then he started doing those commercials for Applebees, and, ya. Not so yummy.

But! Florence is back. He’s opening up his own restaurant in San Francisco (wikipedia says it’s called Bar Florence), and he’s got a line of organic baby food he’s created called Sprout. Seems Tyler has three kiddos and is married, so so much for resurrecting that old crush.

Anyway, he’ll be in town on March 17 to promote Sprout, his new line of baby food that uses his recipes. If you’d like to meet him, you can hit up Central Market in Plano from 3–5pm.

Oh, also, it’s his 38th birthday today. Cue this.
