As if you didn’t have enough to do on Thursday nights, Ynfynyt Scroll (aka Rodrigo Diaz) is looking to fill up a few spots. The local DJ and producer is bringing his brand new Thursday residency “The Turn Up” to the Beauty Bar, complete with friends, fun and what he likes to call “totally turnt rap.” The residency, along with an array of critically acclaimed guests, will feature local producer Lil Texas and an eclectic mix of rap, R&B and club music. The debut kicks-off Thursday, July 11th at 10 p.m., and it is 21+ and free.

In celebration of tomorrow’s festivities, Diaz was kind enough to share with us this all new, exclusive mix so fans can get a better feel of his multi-faceted sound. “It’s a really accurate depiction of what you’d hear at The Turn-Up,” Diaz explains. “I did it live ’cause f*ck-using an Ableton mix. If you don’t do carefully arranged DJ sets, why should you give people mixes that are that way?”

We totally agree. You can download the mix here to prepare for tomorrow’s truly “turnt” night. Or listen to it below.
