RE: BIBLICAL ARTS FIRE

|

Dogpile on Sarah:

If my office burns down this afternoon, and I fail to rescue the finger painting my kid did for me when he was 3, I will have lost a “priceless” work of art, by Sarah Dodd’s definition, as the boy is now almost 6 and couldn’t reproduce it if he tried. If the Louvre burns down, and the Mona Lisa goes with it, the world will have lost a “priceless” work of art, by Sarah Dodd’s definition. Somehow, I think the general feeling of loss would be a leeeetle bit greater if the Mona Lisa went up in smoke, rather than my kid’s finger painting, or anything at the Biblical Arts Center. I charge Sarah Dodd with adjective abuse!
