This morning there was a ceremony held in a hangar at Southwest Airlines headquarters to plaster Ron Chapman’s name on a jet. You know those heart decals on SW planes? It’ll be like that. The Chapman decal will be on the jet for about a month. I believe it reads, “Ron Chapman. LUV is in the air.” And it has a microphone somewhere in it. Something like that. Anyway, SW has only done this once before, for Nolan Ryan. So congrats to Chapman. His last day on the air should be this Friday.
