Airfares About to Increase. With the union representing American Airlines’ 15,000 pilots agreeing in principle to a new contract that would raise salaries 21 percent this year (on top of back-dated raises), the cost of your seat in the sky this summer figures to go up accordingly. Unless you’re a pilot.

Ransomware Shutters Dallas Courts. The city has been forced to close its municipal courts building on Main Street this week as it continues to fight through a ransomware attack. No trials or jury duty. No citation payments accepted. The attack began May 3.

We’re Growing! New data from the Census Bureau shows that North Texas added 170,000 people from July 2021 to July 2022, making us the fastest growing metro area in the country. Fort Worth added 19,000 people, and Dallas added 8,800. Good job!

Police K9 Has Awesome Name. A North Richland Hills cop dog got a new ballistic vest from a donation. That’s fine. But the best part? Are you ready for it? The dog’s name is Luka Dogcic.
