WALK DOWN THE YELLOW brick road at the Dallas Blooms ’95 festival, “Garden of Oz.” Settings from the classic story, such as Auntie Em’s house, are scattered throughout the Arboretum. Children grow a Cowardly Lion’s mane in a mulch pot, white adults prune topiaries and cook with herbs. March 4 through April 9. Activities: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission: $3-$6. UNIQUE TEXTILES THAT REVEAL LEGENDS AND HIDDEN ASpects of Japanese culture are displayed in The Dallas Museum of Art’s “Beyond the Tanabata Bridge: A Textile Journey in Japan.” The exhibit’s 75 pieces include woven clothing and colorful designs that have been passed down for centuries. The Seattle Art Museum lent the selection, which Michael Rosenburg sponsors. Prices for adults, $5, students and senior citizens, $3, children under 12, $1.
