Southern California-based luxury electric vehicle maker Karma Automotive is growing its presence in North Texas. Karma DFW, which is operated by Principle Luxury Collection, is the second Texas store in the Karma network after the Houston location.

“We look forward to offering Karma’s sustainable luxury driving experience, customization opportunities and artful design to customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth market,” said Joost de Vries, vice president of global sales and customer experience at Karma Automotive, via release. “In Karma DFW we have the right partner to support us in growing our business.”

The location will be initially located in Irving, but a newly built facility in Grapevine will be the retailer’s permanent home. The company has plans to expand to five continents this year, and is owned by Chinese automotive supply maker Wanxiang Group. The award-winning vehicles are assembled by hand in the company’s manufacturing facility in California, with prices starting at $130,000.

“Principle Luxury Collection was founded with the desire to change the automotive industry through exceptional customer care, community involvement and sustainability,” said Tyler Mitchell, general manager of Principle Luxury Collection, via release. “We are excited to offer Karma’s luxury electric vehicles to our customers.”
