Lakewood Village Farmers Market to Open on May 19

Good Local Markets (White Rock Farmer’s Market, Lakewood Village Farmers Market) is starting a Lakewood Village Farmers Market on Sunday, May 19 at the southeast corner of Mockingbird Ln. and Abrams Rd. The market runs Sundays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. through October.

According to the release:

Food vendors include Caliper Farm to Market, Chandler Family Farm, Demases Farms, Drop Dead Delicious Pickling Company, Five Mile Chocolate, Full Circle Bakery, Fruth Farms Southwest, Highway 19 Produce and Berries, Texas Honey Bee Guild, Urban Chicken, and Yims Foods.

There will also be arts and crafts vendors including Bz Wicks, Goforth Artistic Creations, Indigenous Roots, John Campbell Pottery, Kendall Davis Clay, Koke Gardens, Natural Buddy, On a Bad Day, One Tiny Acre, Sissy Soaps, Sunshine Store, and Wild Woodshed.

Every Good Local Markets vendor grows or makes what they sell with no distributors, offering produce, artisanal foods and handcrafted goods, vegan and non-vegan all produced within 150 miles of Dallas. Good Local staff visit each farm and ranch to ensure that what is being sold at market is grown locally.
