Hey, guys. What’s going on? How’s your day going? I’m currently sucking on a cough drop and sipping coffee simultaneously. It’s purely utilitarian and I prob wouldn’t recommend doing this, actually.

Anyway. I’m here to tell you about D Magazine‘s Distilled event, which takes place next Friday, May 10.  We’re throwing a party that’s based around drinking really, really nice cocktails.

We’ve got whiskey, gin, vodka, tequila, you name it. There’s a drink made from gin, Chareau aloe liqueur, mint-cucumber syrup, and lime juice. And another that blends bourbon with orange liqueur, and fresh lemon. There will be food, too. The bites are provided by 3015 at Trinity Groves and include southern pimento cheese and beef sliders; jumbo lump crab cakes with lemon dill aioli; whipped ricotta and roasted fig crostini with rosemary gastrique; and a really nice spread of assorted cheeses.

The party takes place from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. (6 p.m. for VIP, which includes a private tasting with bartender Trevor Landry) at 3015 at Trinity Groves. Tickets range from $30 to $75 and can be purchased here.

Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.
