This Oscar de la Renta evening ensemble with white lace bustier and black lace tiered ruffled skirt (c. 1992) is only one of the many treasures in the renowned Texas Fashion Collection, which has been housed in the University of North Texas School of Visual Arts for more than 30 years. Until now.

These knockout frocks now have a showcase space in Dallas, thanks to Heidi Dillon and The Fashionistas, the sponsors of Fashion on Main, a new exhibition space at 1901 Main St. at the Universities Center. The premiere exhibition, “Flights of Fancy,” opens to the public on September 22 and will include selections of designer fashions from the Texas Fashion Collection.
