I'm not gonna lie, I go to sleep excited to wake up and eat breakfast😂👅 anybody else out there? I would be extra excited though if I knew I was going to wake up and eat this delicious dish! ••• Pictured here is the duck and potato hash from @idasouthofordinary which has braised duck, potatoes, sweet potatoes, herb butter, onion, kale, tabasco hollandaise, and a sunny side duck egg. ••• I still need to try more breakfast/ brunches around Dallas, but so far this is definitely my favorite savory breakfast dish in Dallas. The duck was super moist, and the blend of both sweet and white potatoes made each bite different and full of flavor. I feel like a lot of hashes usually lack veggies, but this one was loaded with kale and onion. The kale didn't taste bland, but actually full of flavor. Lastly let me tell you about the tobacco hollandaise. Definitely the best hollandaise I have ever had in my life (and I have had lots of eggs Benedict). This sauce made the dish. Next time I may just order a cup of the sauce on the side. The whole menu at Ida Claire looks really good, and I was really sad I didn't get to try more things:/
