A self-proclaimed workaholic, Monte Anderson is a man on a mission: to uplift and empower residents and local entrepreneurs of South Dallas. Anderson has been in the real estate and development game since 1991. After giving up a career in motocross racing, Anderson started in construction. Since then, he’s had projects in Duncanville, Oak Cliff, and Midlothian. A hands-on type of guy, he gets to know all the people involved in his projects. Although Anderson has consulted in cities across the country, he says he will never work anywhere but South Dallas, where he grew up.  “I’m not a visionary,” he says. “I’m a desperate man willing to do anything to make my community better.”
