A distribution center in Fort Worth has changed hands, after Mercantile Partners LP sold Mercantile Distribution Center 40 to Spraberry Interests LLC for an undisclosed amount. CBRE worked on behalf of the seller to arrange the sale and said the new owner acquired the space for “investment purposes.”
The building, located at 4201 North Beach St., is part of the Mercantile Center business park in Fort Worth and is one of 16 distribution centers in the area. The main tenant listed is KPS Global, which operates its U.S. headquarters out of the building. KPS Global produces walk-in freezers and refrigerated spaces for the retail, industrial, and scientific sectors, according to its website.
The newly purchased distribution center totals 182,500 square feet and is currently 100 percent leased.
