Carolina Herrera showed a beautiful and ladylike collection (as always) at the tents this morning. I was running late and almost didn’t get in due to not having my invite in hands and tightened security because of PETA protesters. But, the show must go on and although I didn’t make it to my seat, I ended up standing at the end of the runway and got a great view of the chic collection of dresses, short suits, separates & gowns that were inspired by Japanese baskets and featured many textures and woven details. After the show I chatted with Jackie Miller Stewart (who said she’s here for fun), who attended the show and thought it was the best collection the designer’s ever done!
