Tomorrow women’s wear designer Thuy Diep will be in town for the second luncheon and trunk show in the Fashion Dish series being held in Craft at the W Hotel in Victory Park. The New York-based designer will offer forty lucky guests an exclusive sneak peek at her Spring/Summer 2009 collection and a few select pieces from her Fall/Winter 2009 line that just showed days ago at New York Fashion Week. The line is not sold anywhere in Dallas at this time, so if you want to check it out, you better make a reservation now…only three spots left (214-397-4106)! The cost is $45, a percentage of which will be donated to Two by Two for AIDS and Art. The price includes a decadent three-course meal, grey goose cocktails, and a chance to mingle one-on-one with an emerging design talent. I’ll be attending and bring you a full report when I get back.
