Pump Me Up, Baby

On Friday, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to try out Intraceuticals Oxygen Infusion facial. Apparently, Madonna loves it so much that she has her own equipment and got a 30 minute treatment before every concert on her recent “Confessions” tour. (That’s her facialist, Michelle Peck performing the treatment in the photo.) The mixture of the Rejuvenation Infusion Serum and the oxygen causes the skin to plump up, not so you look swollen but so you look younger! After half my face was treated, the technician gave me a mirror so I could see the marked difference between it and the untreated side. It was like the treated side of my face was defying gravity and the other side was well, drooping. It even felt firmer to the touch. I was told that one treatment would last 5-7 days but the more you get the longer it will last. How does it happen, you ask? Here’s the scientific stuff, “It is the only treatment in the world that works with topical Hyperbaric Pressure, allowing oxygen and serum to be delivered to the epidermis reaching fundamental layers and assistaing tissue with its natural process of rejuvenation from the inside out.” There. Now you know. So contact the Ritz Carlton spa to set your appointment for a special occasion (Valentine’s Day?) or just because you want to get plumped up. Don’t you just love modern techonology?
