Item of the Day: Marnie Rocks “Express Yourself” Necklace

Designer and Houston native, Marnie Rocks, who opened her second store in Dallas this past year was invited to be in the Kari Feinstein Golden Globes Style Lounge this past week in Hollywood. Apparently the hot item among this years lounge attendees was the “Express Yourself” necklace (an example pictured at left). The necklace combines a zodiac sign, birthstone, birth date and initial all on a long gold or silver ball chain. Paris Hilton called it her “Birthday necklace” while Dancing With the Stars alum Shannon Elizabeth got creative and combined her birthstone, her boyfriend’s (DWTS dancer Derek Hough) zodiac sign and their lucky number, 7, together. Other stars expressing them selves included Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg, Tyrese, Blair Underwood, Melina Kanakaredes, Dexter’s Julie Benz and Ali Landry.
