Blush: The Search for the Next Great Make-up Artist begins on Lifetime (which, by the way, is my favorite guilty pleasure channel – I’m not afraid to admit it) on November 11 at 9pm CST. Vanessa Marcil (remember her from the first Beverly Hills, 90210?) will host the six-episode series. All contestants will be using Japonesque products to impress judges Hal Rubenstein, Fashion Director for InStyle, and professional make-up artist, Joanna Schlip. Another renowned make-up artist, Charlie Green, will serve as mentor to the contestants. I have to say I’ve learned SO much just from watching the make-up artists at D Beauty photo shoots that I’m sure we can all learn something useful from this show. Plus, it just sounds fun to watch!
