I saw a segment the other day on the Today Show about a handful of web sites that sell designer labels at deep discounts during a private, members-only, limited-time sale. Then, ironically, I get an e-mail in my inbox from Hautelook.com, one of the web sites featured on Today. Here’s the deal: you register for free to gain access to private sales of labels such as Tracy Reese, Robert Rodriguez, Jovovich-Hawk, and Ella Moss. (Today’s sale is Primp, worn by the likes of Lauren Conrad, and you can get, say, a campy long-sleeve thermal for $36, marked down from $88.) The site just launched fashion for kids, and menswear is coming in the fall.
