If you love Austin rocker Bob Schneider, you’ll want to check out his show tomorrow night at Bend Studio. When yoga instructor Ally David launched her Intimate Evening Concert Series at Bend back in 2004, it could have been a flop. Maybe people didn’t want to see a rock-and-roll show in a smoke-free, all-acoustic setting where you’re required to kick off your shoes at the door. Turns out, they did. And those Intimate Evenings have thrived. Although I won’t deny digging on Bob back in the day, what I’m really looking forward to is singer-songwriter Ari Hest‘s showcase scheduled for September 5. So tall, so dark, so handsome! Doors are at 7. Show is at 8.
