Jessica Simpson Launches New Fragrance

Our favorite hometown girl has, not surprisingly, found something else to put her name on. Simpson’s new fragrance, a collaboration with perfumer Alexis Dadier, is called Fancy, a “luminous dewy fragrance that is all about floral femininity.” (And those are only a few of the adjectives in this colorful press release.) A mix of apricot nectar, pear, gardenia, almond, jasmine, sandalwood, amber crystals, and vanilla creme sounds fancy, indeed. The bottle is a modern spin on the chanteuse’s favorite vintage perfume bottles. The perfume is scheduled to arrive in stores–Macy’s, Dillard’s–by Labor Day.
