Spice up your salad with this local dressing.

Josie’s Bistro Potato & Pasta Salad Dressing is an easy and tasty shortcut for when you’re making homemade potato and pasta salads. Created by Josie herself, the original intent was to create a premade, gourmet potato salad. However, after listening to feedback from customers it was quickly decided that a potato and pasta dressing was in demand. I agree with Josie here, there aren’t many products like this one on the market.

Want to make a delicious potato salad? Just boil, drain, cool, and dice five or six medium russet potatoes, add up to half a cup of onion, bell pepper, and celery. Stir the entire jar of dressing into the mixture and refrigerate to chill. You can follow the same recipe for pasta salad. One jar makes 10 to 12 servings.

A perk to using this product is that you can make single servings as well, adding in as much or as little as you need. Josie’s Potato & Pasta Salad Dressing can also be used in chicken salad, on sandwiches, on burgers or as a dip for veggies or chips. You can get creative with the dip, but an ideal base is a block of softened cream cheese mixed with a few chunky vegetable and jar of Josie’s dressing.

The “original” dressing is mayonnaise-based and flavored with pineapple, cucumber, a touch of mustard, and a blend of spices. Josie’s “chipotle” dressing is a hot and spicy version of the original, flavored with chipotle and chili pepper.

Both flavors can be found at a few local markets and retailers including Ruibal’s Rosemeade Market in Carrollton, Preston Road Pharmacy in Dallas, Cox Farms Market in Duncanville, Jimmy’s Food Store, and Patti’s Place Coffee & Tea in Plano. You can also order both flavors online.
