Per the quandaries you undoubtedly have about what The Thing in men’s apparel is this fall, a few thoughts: Stop looking for trends, and buy what you like, what you feel comfortable in, what you think looks like you. Eclecticism is the only “thing” for men this fall, so give your self-image a break. Whether you prefer the brashness of a turtleneck sweater and jeans, or the formality and elegance of a three-piece suit, or the tailored-yet-casual look of cowboy chic or denim, you will be right in step when the temperature dips to, uh, 70 this fall.
