Restaurateur Alberto Lombardi To Open Eatery In Highland Park Village

|

Ever the innovator, Alberto Lombardi will strike Dallas again with another restaurant concept. According to his PR rep Bill Armstrong, Mr. Lombardi’s newest spot will open in March 2011 near the fountain in Highland Park Village. Hmm. Could this be the current Who’s Who Hamburger spot? [Update: Nope. Empty Talbot’s space.] Here’s what Mr. Bill sez:

Inside, the restaurant will seat forty-five guests and a newly designed outside patio will seat thirty. The concept is still being finalized but will specialize in Mediterranean cuisine in an urban casual environment. The name is also still to be finalized.

Also a quick update on La Fiorentina, Lombardi’s new Tuscan steakhouse going into the old Chip’s building on Cole—they are looking at a late October opening.
