Thumbs Down to the Dallas Morning News for their latest promotional blitz for sports columnist Skip Bayless. They’ve now got him lounging centerfoldstyle on numerous Dallas billboards and city busses. Bayless has already proven his worth; he’s made a name for himself and he’s won some worthy awards for his writing. Let the poor guy rest on his own laurels. After all, do we really need our sports writers to be sex symbols? Let’s just hope this doesn’t set a precedent. As much as we like Blackie Sherrod, we’d hate to see him end up in Cosmopolitan in the buff.
