Just off the phone with chef Tim Love. Remember this? He called to apologize for fibbing about being on Top Chef: Masters. As we know, he is on the show, and it starts June 10. He is so charming he won me over completely. (In fact, I’m making a t-shirt right now with his face on it to wear while I’m watching. No, I’m not. But I might. Anyway.)
Here’s the deal: Because of confidentiality stuff (he says Bravo peeps are stricter than other shows he’s done), he had to tell me a little white one. It’s all good now. Love says they shot TC: M through the winter, and he really had a blast. He says he knew 90% of the chefs already, but that it was kinda like “an early Aspen Food and Wine Festival” for them. The show starts on June 10. Love says they’ve got some watching parties in the works. We’ll let you know when we do.
