Now that it’s January, it’s only a matter of time till Dallas gets its yearly dose of icy roads, frozen pipes, and (fingers crossed) snow days. And that makes a second home in southern Baja sound even more appealing. Puerto Los Cabos is a 2,000-acre master-planned development on the Sea of Cortez. It offers three miles of private beachfront, the largest marina in Mexico, and two signature golf courses. There are also several direct flights into Los Cabos International, which is a major plus. Prices range from $195,000 to $5 million, so there are lots of options to choose from. More than 70 homes have been completed, and an additional 50 are under construction.
