Long-suffering FrontBurnervians will remember that back in June I posted about WFAA’s report on Helicopter Sniper Adventures, a small operation in Denton County that takes people up in a helicopter so that they can fire weapons at targets on a gun range below. Some neighbors of the property where this takes place were upset.

I wrote, based on Helicopter Sniper’s own web video, that it looked like both a pretty stupid and a pretty awesome way to spend a Saturday morning. Shortly after my post, I got a phone call from Dan Claassen, who runs the business. He invited me out to try it for myself, and so I trekked up there early in July.
