Thumbs up to Heritage Cablevision for voluntarily offering to assist Dallas police in promoting neighborhood safety by serving as “extra eyes.” All Heritage trucks marked with an owl decal contain two-way radios that drivers can use to alert police dispatchers to neighborhood crime or serious traffic problems. In addition, the Heritage trucks can be used as safe havens for children. Any child who is lost or in trouble can approach a Heritage truck marked with the owl decals for help.
