1) A bar owner in Fort Worth is stirring up some controversy with a banner he hung outside his establishment that uses some word that starts with the 14th letter of the alphabet. Not sure what the word is, since no news agency thinks readers are mature enough to see this incendiary word quoted in context.

2) Since Dallas Police haven’t got anything better to do, now they’re being given another dumb law to enforce and you’re being given another one, like HOV lane restrictions, to ignore. But has there actually been a rash of kids run down in school zones by drivers on cell phones? Is this an answer to a problem that doesn’t exist? Why, what possible reason could there be for this proposed new ordinance? Wait for it — and –>”Violators would face a $200 fine.” Natch.

3)  “But some animals are more equal than others.”
