The gift will enable the school to pursue a long-held goal: that of attracting top-flight students who, it is hoped, will continue to work in Dallas after graduation. Under the leadership of Kern Wildenthal, Southwestern is evolving into a medical complex with worid-class aspirations. Perot’s gift goes a long way toward ensuring that those hopes are realized.
