Thumbs up to City Manager Richard Knight for his excellent job in managing this city. In one month, Knight and the city of Dallas received two national awards of excellence. Business Month’s June issue called Dallas one of the ten best-managed cities in the nation, and the U.S. Conference of Mayors recently gave Dallas an Outstanding Achievement award in its Tenth Annual City Livability Awards Program. We’ve got our problems, but city management is not one of them.
