One of the hot new talents on the Christian music scene is none other than Anthony Evans, son of local pastor Tony Evans. As pastor of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas and host of the wildly popular radio show, The Urban Alternative, the elder Evans has a national following through books, radio and TV. Now his son is carving out his own ministry, using his soulful tenor voice and contemporary lyrics. Anthony’s second album, Letting Go, came out this spring and he is now on a 30-city tour, playing New York City and Monterey, CA before coming home later this month.
