An alert FBvian points us to a quote from Tony Page, a Friends of Love Field guy:
“There’s nothing in this for consumers. This doesn’t repeal the Wright Amendment for eight years. A significant number of people in the metroplex will be dead by then.”
I suppose Page was being arch, but in the AP story, the comment comes off as bizarre.
