MONOPOLY DON’T KNOW DALLAS

An alert FBvian points us to the official Parker Brothers’ Monopoly site, where they are inviting people to vote on which cities’ landmarks should appear on a new version of Monopoly. Dallas gets three options: Texas Stadium, Fair Park, and the Arboretum.

Lessee. The first isn’t in Dallas. And it’s about to be abandoned. The second two are interesting considerations–except that they are so little-known that Monopoly couldn’t find actual images of the landmarks. I’m not sure where the Fair Park pic came from. The Arborteum image is of a desert landscape.

How about the Sixth Floor Museum? Reunion Tower? If you’re looking beyond the city limits, Southfork?
