As temperatures start to dip, and cozy cashmere sweaters shift to front-of-the-closet rotation, your lips can follow suit by embracing the season’s hottest color trends.
“Fall lip is all a deep bordeaux, burgundy, wine, maroon or deep red lip,” says Theresa Snyder, beauty selling manager at Neiman Marcus in Downtown Dallas. “You will see lots of very matte lip colors, but also some great shine gloss like YSL long-wearing Lip Vinyl with shine that lasts all day. Or the opposite, a soft mauve, dusty rose, nude lip with a smoky eye.”
Not a fan of deep plums and earthy nudes? Don’t worry. You can still pucker up with your favorite red gloss.
“Red is always a classic for fall,” Snyder says. “There truly is a red for everyone. [It] can be a subtle or vibrant red, shine, or matte.”
