The Design District: I’m crazy about shopping there. Ceylon et Cie is a place to go for instant inspiration, and I recently went lamp-crazy just down the street at Positive Space. I love Charles Duran’s finds and really want a piece of furniture from the Louis Series by Sixinch.

Craighead Green Gallery: I bought a beautiful piece by Shelly Porter. I like their artists and point of view.

Isabel Marant: I’m a little obsessed with this French fashion designer. I’ve shopped her Paris boutiques for years, and having the line in my own store is just the best. She has quite the cult following.

Ojeda’s: The best part of Dallas cuisine, hands-down, is Tex-Mex, and there’s nothing more comforting to me than dinner (and margaritas, of course) with friends at Ojeda’s on Maple. The real deal.

Sartel: I love what Matthew Earnest and Lily Atherton Hanbury are doing with their new clothing/lifestyle collection. The fact they base everything out of Dallas just makes it better!

Erin Wasson x RVCA: Her collection for RVCA is one of my newest faves. It’s cool, affordable, and the Texas references are nonstop.

Kelly Wearstler: I worship her. She is so supremely talented. I love staying at any hotel she’s designed, and she has as much fun with fashion as she does with interiors. She shopped at V.O.D. last summer, and I was so excited!

Terminal D:  Embarking on new adventures in faraway places is an essential part of my existence. Terminal D at DFW airport is my happy place: it’s filled with art, and when I’m there I know I’m about to be somewhere good.

Bedding: Shopping for sheets is so fun to me. Mixing and matching patterns and labels is what I’m into now—I love LuLu DK, John Robshaw’s exotic prints, and Matteo’s washed vintage linen sheets from Haven.

Stationery: I treasure paper, notebooks, and handwritten notes. Grange Hall now carries my favorite notebooks from the French company Astier de Villatte, and I adore the stationery from Smythson of Bond Street. They do beautiful fashion collaborations with British designers like Matthew Williamson and Giles Deacon.

Medina Oven & Bar: I was recently in Marrakech and fell in love with the city’s colors and flavors. The people are equally colorful, and when I’m dining at Medina, enjoying a mint tea with the owner Sam, I’m instantly transported.

Animals: I am a huge animal lover, and my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are my life! I bring them to work with me every day. I love that Victory Park is so dog friendly.
